ABOUT THE GRANTEE
Delta Health Center, Inc. (DHC) was the first community health center of its kind, opening its doors in historic Mound Bayou, Mississippi, 1965. DHC was also the first Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC) in the United States, and continues to build a world class primary health care system committed to caring for vulnerable populations from newborns to the elderly.
