Festivals and Social Gatherings
The Mississippi Delta National Heritage Area defines festivals and social gatherings as any event that brings people together with an intent or natural effect of sustaining Delta culture in some way. Delta culture may be sustained through a variety of informal and formal events including events centered around music, food, history, religion, art and more.
